I have been doing charcoal portraits for quite a few years as a passion and hobby. After years of hearing from those I did portraits for and hearing their very positive feedback, I decided to start an LLC, Lake Genesis. This allows me to share my abilities with others since it gives me so much satisfaction and joy. I am retired now and decided to begin using my art abilities as a full time vocation.

My art was not my full time career. I spent years in the architectural design manager role to learn the balance of beauty and aesthetics with engineering. Form follow function. I also spent many more years in information technology. This meant supporting product development organizations, like Harley-Davidson Motor Company, with advanced graphics support.

These experiences left me with a strong ability to understand things like composition, perspectives, space/solid relationships and values. It also left me with a strong passion for delivering personalized service backed by excellent expertise. To provide outstanding customer service in order to guarantee that all my clients are 100% satisfied.
